    Do You Believe in Faeries?

    Well, do you? Regardless, do you spell it "fairy" or "faery" or "faerie" or some other way? To anyone reading this: Please tell me what you think!! I really want to know.

    Yes, I do. I spell it "fairy" because that's just the one I'm more familiar with, but all spellings are fine with me.

    I never know how to spell it so sometimes I write fairy, sometimes I write faery, sometimes I write faerie... lol

    "Fairy" is how I typically spell it, but when I'm feeling adventurous (lol) I go with "faery". I have a pretty good mix of both spellings in my gallery (although I think "fairy" is more prevalent), but in the keywords I type in as many spellings as I can think of :D

    I spell it Faery. I'm a student of Anglo-Saxon, and the word 'fairy' derives from the Anglo-saxon 'Faery' - literally meaning 'of the Fae'. Through the years as the language became condensed and diluted, the words 'fairy' and 'fay' were born. Personally, I much prefer the original Anglo-Saxon.
