You may ask yourself, "What's FantasyStock going on about now? Dragons??" But I love dragons! My avatar has been a dragon for a long time. And... Well, yeah, I have questions about dragons, though my reasons are my own... LOL!

Well, Dragon lore is varied and contradictory in my opinion, but they are still awesome. There are the Pern dragons, and D+D dragons. But there are dragons in every culture and they all seem to fly, which is what I guess I like about them, that something that big can be so agile, in the air. I really did like the mini-series they did on dragons a while back, that "what if" series, explaining scientifically how it's possible for them to breathe fire and fly and such, it almost made it believeable. (that and it was voiced by Patrick Stewart XD ) Dragons are, and will always be, a fixture in fantasy. That's, I guess, what makes them so fascinating.

I had a friend who wrote an entire essay about the physiology of dragons. It was fantastic. I'll see if I can find it again.

I think dragons existed at one time. There are detailed descriptions and drawings of them through history. Unless of course everyone was on drugs.

I wish I could see one.

Of course I believe in dragons, who doesn't.

Have I ever met one? IRL? I hardly ever meet anyone IRL, I hardly ever have the chance to just go off by myself. I've met a few online, though I can only really say that a couple of those were actually genuine, not furries/scalies/wannabes but actual dragons or dragonkin. They were a bit brash and pushy and loose on the language, but considering what they've gone through over the centuries and with gryphons having suffering some degree of fundamentalist demonizing from stupid humans as well, I can sympathize, I think.

Like I said, never met one IRL, so, never really saw one or touched one, save for astral journeys where I still have a problem telling dragons of the realm from dragons that are just visiting like me.
