    ZOMBIFIED?

    Have you ever felt like a zombie? You know that feeling of being drained, kind of slow, can't quite wake up until the fifth cup of coffee...? Ever have one of those days? ...Or one of those weeks? When was the last time you could relate to this feeling? (Maybe I'm alone in this. I hope not. I'm such a weirdo. Weirdo zombie.)
    This week I'm requesting (please!!) links to your favorite zombie art at dA. Not only could this potentially be disturbing to my delicate psyche, but I also think it will help me feel less alone in my zombified state. Thanks!

    ~Neko-no-Nagareboshi is a photo manipulation artist from France. Even though her gallery is relatively small, there are some interesting psychological themes there. I also enjoy her use of grayscale hues where she relies more on texture and form rather than color to convey emotions.

    Oh, wow. Zombification. I'm with you all the way. Feeling kinda like that now, actually - dried, falling-out eyeballs, drained brain, large bags under the eyes, pallid flesh, and one-track mind. Exams will do that to ya. Well, ~thecruelseasons does some delightfully disturbing stuff with dead and rotting corpses, but my personal favorite zombie pics are here, here, and here: [link] [link] [link]

    So it's not just me!! :faint: Yeah, I have definitely felt zombified lately. Actually, that seems to be my "normal" state of being as a single mom with 3 kids lol :P But especially this past week. I had a friend visiting from FL, my sister visiting from WA, my brother visiting from TX (fortunately none of them were actually staying with me) plus 2 ballet recitals and a piano recital. Talk about zombification. I still haven't fully recovered. My brain felt particularly worm-eaten today at work. Sadly I don't have any zombie links. But I thought I'd share my zombie life :D

    Dunno why but it seems the life drinking your energy more and more....like a vampire!
    We had a zombiewalk last time here in berlin (its all over the world 1x in the year) and I was there :D
