For those of you that may not recall, Project Stacee involved several artists that put their skills to good use in fixing a damaged photo of a little girl who had died.

Great appreciation to everyone that participated in this project!! I really hope that everyone got something positive out of this experience. Thanks to all of you, Stacee's grandmother will receive this quality print of Stacee (which will be matted in a silver frame for her) for Christmas:


Special thanks goes out to an anonymous deviant that privately stepped up (without being asked) to pay for a print to be shipped to Stacee's grandmother. (Yes, it seems that angels are for real, and miracles do happen.) Dude, I promised not to mention your name, but I've been burning to publicly thank you! I don't really even know you, but I do know that you've made this a special Christmas for a whole family... You rock!


With the season of "good will" finally here, I thought it may be fun to feature things that have to do with worthy causes. Maybe this can raise a little awareness while giving us some art to help make the world a better place!

What kinds of causes do you support?? Please feel free to leave links to organizations and causes that you think deserve more attention. How can we make a beneficial difference in the world?

I just found out today that ~mewgal used one of my stock photos to support a good cause at Subforce. Click on the link for "Passive Solar Heating" to see how she used this photo. Her web site is all about alternative energy sources. Cool, eh? I like seeing my stock used to do good things.

The 10th of December is Human Rights Day. You can find out more about this global cause at Amnesty International.

Please use the stamp or the list links to spread the word. So many people give a ton of their time, money and effort to share stock resources with the community, and I think it's good to show them a little love.

~HyperStrudel's gallery is full of thought-provoking art that borders on the surreal. She writes fiction and poetry, and she shows much potential with photomanipulation, drawing, and painting. I like how most of her art seems so dream-like with her use of visual symbolism.
