((hugs))) yes its supposed to be, its best to put down the problems and leave them

, onething i love about these holidays its a time of love, and giving and caring

But i feel these days should be like this forever...
I remembered stories in history when there was a war, christmass arrived, theer was one day of peace, and boxing day, they did box and shoot

, i felt that they should have listened to the crhistmass spirit of love and peace of the silent night to end it for good, start a new and embrace and apreciate each other's differences, alot had to do with few stuborn people in charge, where innocent countless men suffered and also families of woman and children.

I say christmass spirit should last.

Yep, we celebrate Christmas! Not really any traditions...family is kinda spread out, so it's usually just the 4 of us. The kids and I usually make a bunch of cookies in the days leading up to Christmas. Sometimes depending on weather we'll go out driving and look at the lights. Christmas day the kids open their presents, then we eat & play all day.

Our christmas tree has become more of a memory tree. Every year we each put an ornament on the tree to signify something signifcant for the year. I'll post this year's ornaments in my journal.

I celebrate a christian Christmas ^_^ I'm not really involved in church so it still remains mostly a family event. The tradition is that the family is together... it was my grandmother's dieing wish that her children and their families would stay close. We used to always have Christmas at her house, then it moved to my house, now its in my Aunt's new (big!) house. No one in our family is really well off money-wise so there's never much gift giving. We have Christmas with the whole family then we go our seperate ways and have a smaller Christmas evening with immediate family... the latter is my favorite part.

Last year was bad... we had a family crisis (actually two or three) and never even put up our tree... my sister was arrested and went to rehab and my mom was in the hospital... so this year, a Christmas where my family is together and healthy will be the perfect gift.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all! Whatever anyone believes religiously (or non) I think its a good time of year to spread love, cheer, and kindness... to give of ones self to others, especially those less fortunate, and to be thankful for blessings.
